Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk have been the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that took place in December. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows following her change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of the month of May in 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season and on June 20, 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to return to work on the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its prominence on social media has gained a significant internet following.
